Kerr County

Kerr County is located 65 miles northwest of San Antonio, just off Interstate 10. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 52,598. It was named by Joshua D. Brown for his fellow Kentucky native, James Kerr, a congressman of the Republic of Texas. First settled as a working camp focused on the making of shingles, the area has thrived through the years to include many vocations and industries.
