Governor Abbott announced disaster unemployment assistance for Texas Flooding
Alamo Workforce Solutions personnel are available to process unemployment daily from 7 am - 7 pm at the Kerrville Career Center starting immediately.
They will also be assisting with all other agency funding applications (SBA, FEMA, LiftFund, etc)
1099 workers are now included in this benefit and can apply for unemployment assistance.
Individuals affected by the flood can apply for benefits online through the Unemployment Benefit Services or by calling TWC at (800) 939-6631 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Do Not Come to Volunteer Without a Contact Person and Approval
We are currently in Phase 1 of this crisis: Search and Rescue Operations. NO search and rescue help is needed at this time! Areas outside of Kerr County are still looking for search help and we ask that you contact those communities directly.
We are currently accepting Volunteer Information that is being dispersed to various agencies organizations in an order to coordinate volunteers. Please complete the Volunteer Application and you will be contacted as soon as possible.
Most Kerrville Donation Sites Are Full
Do Not Disturb Large Debris Piles
We are still looking for victims. If a pile is large enough to need heavy equipment to clean, call 830-257-8181 to have the city send a search team to check the pile first. This applies to big tangles where a person could be. Smaller piles are fine to be cleaned up.

Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has established the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support local response, relief, and recovery efforts following the devastating July 4th flood.

Kerrville Area Rebuilding & Recovery Fund
The Kerrville Area Rebuilding & Recovery Fund is dedicated to supporting the long-term rebuilding efforts of the Kerrville Area. While immediate needs are being addressed, this fund will remain in place to assist businesses with the ongoing recovery and restoration in the months to come.
