SBA disaster loans are available to homeowners, renters, and businesses of all sizes in areas covered by a disaster.
FEMA Major Disaster Declaration and online application DR-4879-TX was declared on July 6, 2025.
LiftFund grants and 0% interest loans are available to individuals in the community affected by the flood.

The Kerrville Area Rebuilding & Recovery Fund is dedicated to supporting the long-term rebuilding efforts of the Kerrville Area. While immediate needs are being addressed, this fund will remain in place to assist businesses with the ongoing recovery and restoration in the months to come.
Unemployment Benefits
Individuals affected by flooding during the July 4 disaster can apply for Unemployment benefits online by clicking here or by calling TWC at (800) 939-6631 between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Applications for DUA benefits under this declaration must be submitted by September 4, 2025.
Onsite Personal assistance is available at Kerrville Career Center at 1700 Sidney Baker St #500 from 7 am - 7 pm daily.
1099 workers are currently eligible for unemployment benefits .

The STAR Fund was created solely with monetary donations from private individuals and entities to fund disaster recovery efforts. STAR Fund money may be used to assist farmers, ranchers and agribusiness owners in rebuilding fences, restoring operations and paying for other agricultural disaster relief.
To qualify, the applicant’s county must be in included in either a declaration of disaster by the Governor of Texas or a declaration of agricultural emergency by the Texas Commissioner of Agriculture. For this disaster the following counties are eligible: Bandera, Bexar, Burnet, Caldwell, Coke, Comal, Concho, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Reeves, San Saba, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson counties.
