Commemoration Events

Remember. Honor. Find Support.

This summer, we will gather to remember lives affected by the flood disaster, honoring resilience and shared strength. We share in grief, but also in the quiet strength that comes from standing together. These commemoration events are moments to reflect, to support one another, and to recognize the resilience that lives within every neighbor, family, and friend impacted. As recovery continues, please know you are not alone. Help is here – through local organizations, volunteers, and caring individuals ready to listen, assist, and walk alongside you. Together, we can honor what was lost while gently rebuilding what lies ahead. Through compassion, unity, and hope, our community will move forward – stronger, closer, and committed to caring for one another every step of the way.

Mental Health Resources

Our entire community has endured serious challenges since July 4th. Mental health concerns follow every natural disaster. It’s normal, and it affects every single person in our community. At Kerr Together, we want you to know that what you’re feeling is real, and it matters. Needing support isn’t weakness – it’s taking back power in a situation where many feel powerless. Your mind needs care just like your body does.

Grief, fear, sleeplessness, numbness—all of it is normal as we work to rebuild. Just because it’s “normal” doesn’t mean you have to face it alone. As a community, we’ve experienced something extraordinary, and healing will take time. Help is here. You deserve it. You’re worth it.
