Wading into River Recovery

We were honored to coordinate with Rev. Dr. Preston Davis, Vice President & Minister to the University at One University Parkway, High Point, NC, and his volunteer team from North Carolina for a focused riparian management project at a local camp impacted by the floods, alongside Hill Country Alliance.

The group worked diligently along affected river areas, supporting erosion control, vegetation stabilization, and long-term watershed restoration efforts. By assisting with hands-on land management tasks in partnership with Hill Country Alliance, their team directly contributed to strengthening riverbanks and promoting native regrowth following flood damage.

We are deeply grateful for their leadership, dedication, and heart to help restore both the property and the health and resilience of our river systems!

With two recent weekends of volunteer and expert help, the River Working Group and volunteers from across the area have joined to make an impact on the river at this critical time of year for seeding.
