Notre Dame Catholic Church Respite Center

Due to the recent major flooding events in Kerr County, Notre Dame Catholic Church has been blessed by significant donations from around the country.  Following the teachings of Jesus in the parable of the “Good Samaritan” we are thankful for the generosity of so many people to assist our neighbors in recovery efforts.

Recovery Resources Available:

  • Notre Dame Flood Relief Program (NDFR Program): The purpose of the NDFR Program is to support those most in need after the Flood Event, such as those individuals that suffered unrecoverable financial loss and damage. In doing so, it seeks to alleviate personal hardship and distress arising as a result of the Flood Event. Relief provided under the NDFR Program will be awarded to as many individuals as possible and priority will be given to those most in need of assistance and they may be partnered with other forms of assistance, including referrals to other agencies.
  • Supply Distribution Center: St. Vincent de Paul has a store front generously loaned to them next to SALT at the corner of A Street and Broadway. Everything is free of charge, all they ask is that you fill out a form when you come. There are many ways people have been affected by the flood, not just those who have lost their homes entirely, so do not feel shy or unworthy.
  • Notre Dame Church & School would like to gather information from families in our parish community who were affected by the flooding in Kerr County by opting in to their confidential survey.
